Sheet Metal Fabrication

Custom Edge Metals, Flashings, and Roofing Components — Built In-House

At Port Roofing, we don’t just install commercial metal roofing systems. We fabricate the components ourselves. From gutters and downspouts to coping, fascia, and edge metals, our in-house Texas-based sheet metal shop gives us full control over quality, fit, and lead time.

That means faster installs, fewer delays, and a better roof for your building.

What We Fabricate In-House

We custom-build sheet metal components to fit the unique needs of every project:

  • Coping Caps – For parapet walls and edge transitions
  • Edge Metals & Gravel Stops – For water control and durability
  • Gutters & Downspouts – Custom-sized, color-matched, and site-specific
  • Fascia & Soffit Panels – Architectural trims to finish and seal roof edges
  • Reglet Flashings & Counterflashings – For watertight transitions at walls
  • Custom Trim Pieces – For canopies, cornices, and unique design features

All components are fabricated from high-quality steel or aluminum, available in a variety of gauges, profiles, and finishes.

Warranty-Compliant

Fabricated to meet manufacturer guidelines for full system warranties.

Our ANSI/SPRI Certified Shop, Equipment & Process

Port Roofing’s in-house sheet metal shop is ANSI/SPRI ES-1 certified — meaning all our fabricated edge metal components (coping, fascia, gravel stop, etc.) meet national wind uplift and performance standards. This certification ensures you receive compliant, code-approved materials for warranty-backed roof systems.

We use commercial-grade brakes, shears, and roll formers to produce:

  • Straight and curved panels
  • Clean, consistent bends and hems
  • Long panel runs (up to 20’+) to minimize seams
  • Tight tolerances for complex flashing transitions

Our team is trained to work from architectural drawings, roof plans, or custom field measurements.

Who We Fabricate For

We fabricate sheet metal components for:

  • Our own roofing projects (new construction & re-roofing)
  • Commercial general contractors
  • Retrofit upgrades or repairs on existing systems
  • Property owners who need custom trim to match aging systems
